Why is wool better than feather and down for a duvet?

Feather and down fillers move around inside the duvet liner as you change position. This causes variation in temperature throughout the night as you sleep and may be disruptive.  Our one piece wool fillings are carefully quilted to keep the wool in place.  This ensures an even distribution of warmth and no cold spots. Additionally, wool naturally regulates temperature by absorbing excess moisture away from your body so you remain at a comfortable and at a more even temperature throughout the night. 

Wool is a naturally non-allergenic which makes our duvets a perfect choice for people with asthma or allergies. It is also naturally fire retardant so ensures the safest sleep.

Wool duvets also provide a more comfortable environment when two people, who have different body temperatures (i.e. one hot and the other cold) sleep in the same bed. This is due to wools unique ability to adjust individual body temperatures naturally.
